Heater cleaning goes a long way
When the heating repair technicians arrived at my house, I asked them kindly to remove their shoes before inviting them in. They were both young and very well presented. I offered the two heating repair technicians a hot drink which they politely declined. Shame really because I’d just gotten some wonderful Blue Mountain coffee beans.
They wanted to get straight to work as they said they had a very busy day ahead. I didn’t have a problem with that at all, and led them down to where the heater was. I left the two men alone and returned to my cross stitch picture of ducklings for my grandchild.
They were awfully quiet while they set up to work on the ducted heating repair. Adelaide had been unseasonably cold for December and nobody was happy about it.
I could hear the men in the other room, moving things, working on the heater and giving it a thorough clean. I sat in the lounge room with my cross stitch on my lap pretending to work. I thought about how great it would be once the guys had gone and I would know that I was breathing in clean and healthy warm air. I often went to people’s houses and could smell the difference in the air quality. Needless to say, I don’t go visit friends much anymore unless I know they’ve had a regular service for their heating. Adelaide handymen are some of the best in the country.
It wasn’t long before the gas heating repair team appeared in front of me, I gathered that they had finished their job. I walked down to the heater to have a look at their handy work. I always made sure to check that the lights were on, even though I’d never been unhappy with their service.
I thanked the team numerous times and walked them to their car. I bid them a good day and waved them off as they drove up the street. I walked back into my house, enjoying the noticeable difference in air quality now that the heater was on.
